Gerður Guðmundsdóttir joins BBA//Fjeldco

Gerður Guðmundsdóttir has joined BBA//Fjeldco. She was previously with Iceland Revenue and Customs, in their Tax Investigation division, and before that she worked at the Directorate of Tax Investigations and in the tax- and legal department of Deloitte. She has extensive experience of tax law and projects related to tax matters.

Gerður holds a Mag.Jur. degree from the Faculty of Law at the University of Iceland, she graduated in 2015 after specialising in tax and company law and was admitted in Iceland in 2017. She is currently finishing her two year postgraduate degree in tax law at the University of Oxford.

She has taught International and Icelandic tax law part-time at the Faculty of Law at the University of Iceland and submitted several peer reviewed academic articles on the subject. She has also taught methodology part-time at the Faculty of Law at the University of Reykjavik.
